Tootsie's Orchid Lounge Returns to Panama City Beach with Grand Opening Weekend

Randy Houser and Jake Owen headline FREE shows May 1-2 at the former Spinnaker Beach Club location

Country music fans, get ready. Tootsie's Orchid Lounge is roaring back to Panama City Beach with a grand opening weekend that promises to be unforgettable.

The legendary Nashville honky-tonk is setting up shop at the former Spinnaker Beach Club location on Thomas Drive, a site being revitalized after Hurricane Michael's damage. The three-story, 7,200-square-foot venue will feature a bandstand, dance floor, swimming pool, and stunning beach views.

Grand Opening Two Nights. Two Headliners. No Cover.

The grand opening weekend kicks off May 1st with Randy Houser and continues May 2nd with Jake Owen and more country artists. Best of all? There's no cover charge, completely FREE to enter.

Located at 8795 Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach, the new Tootsie's brings authentic Nashville-style country music to the beach daily, with schedules varying seasonally.

What to Expect

Live Country Music, Dancing, Food & Drinks.

The venue offers something for everyone. It's family-friendly until 8 p.m., then transitions to 21+ with valid ID for the evening crowd.

The menu features Gulf Coast favorites including shrimp, oysters, tacos, burgers, sandwiches, buffalo wings, and the signature country boil and signature drinks. Full menu service runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a late-night menu available until 11 p.m.

A New Chapter

After closing its Pier Park location in 2023, Tootsie's owner Steve Smith saw opportunity in the Spinnaker site.

"Sparky and Spinnaker just fell in our lap, and it was evidently meant to be," Smith remarked.

The new Tootsie's Orchid Lounge promises live performances from top country artists, cold drinks, and that unmistakable honky-tonk atmosphere, right here on the World's Most Beautiful Beaches.
