A longtime Panama City food-truck favorite is planting deeper roots in the community. Tri-R-Tips BBQ is celebrating a new chapter in September 2026 with a grand-opening weekend at No Name Lounge & Bayside Bistro in Historic Downtown Panama City.
The partnership brings Tri-R-Tips' Hawaiian-style barbecue together with one of downtown's most recognizable waterfront hangouts, giving diners a chance to enjoy big barbecue flavors, cold drinks, live music and views of St. Andrew Bay all in one stop.
According to Historic Downtown Panama City's September event schedule, Tri-R-Tips is serving at No Name Lounge & Bayside Bistro throughout the opening weekend, beginning Friday, September 4. Friday's festivities pair the barbecue with live music from Venture from 7 to 11 p.m., followed by Greenhead on Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. Tri-R-Tips is also scheduled to serve Sunday, September 6.
From Food Truck Favorite to Downtown Partnership
Tri-R-Tips' Hawaiian-style barbecue has built its following around a mobile concession trailer serving Panama City and the surrounding area. Earlier this summer, the owners told followers they were actively looking into a possible permanent location. This new arrangement with No Name Lounge gives the barbecue business a more consistent place for customers to find its food while becoming part of Downtown Panama City's growing dining and entertainment scene.
The concept is a natural fit. No Name Lounge sits at 111 W. Beach Drive along St. Andrew Bay and is known for its laid-back waterfront atmosphere, outdoor deck and regular live entertainment. Adding Hawaiian-style barbecue gives guests another reason to settle in for an evening by the water.
What's Cooking at Tri-R-Tips?
If you've followed Tri-R-Tips around Bay County, you already know this isn't a place for tiny portions.
The menu revolves around barbecue comfort food with an island-inspired twist. Tri-tip is naturally one of the stars, but the lineup has also included chicken, pulled pork, ribs, tacos, nachos and some seriously loaded creations. Tri-R-Tips has developed a following for oversized loaded fries and baked potatoes, while its Hawaiian influences help give the menu a personality beyond traditional Southern barbecue.
Current online ordering menus feature items such as Loaded Steak Fries, Steak Nachos, Pulled Pork Tacos, Loaded Pulled Pork Baked Potatoes, Chicken Nachos and a Double Decker Smashburger Combo.
And because Tri-R-Tips has always been willing to experiment, followers may also spot rotating specials. Recent offerings have included crab rangoon alongside the truck's barbecue favorites.

Does anyone know if they take reservations at No Name on opening weekend?
If you haven’t tried their pulled pork tacos, you’re missing out.
Their portions are massive. I never finish my plate but that’s a good problem to have.
